Write to a person.

The address below is a mailbox someone reads, not a ticket queue.

Someone typing at a laptop by a window, one hand resting on a printed sheet.

Tell us what you ship, where you ship it, and what you have been asked for. If you already know the country, say so — that decides who picks the message up.

Three fields. Two of them are required.

A message that says “Amazon asked me for an EPR number for France and I ship batteries” is enough to get a useful answer. You do not need to know the vocabulary — working it out is the job.

What happens next

We don't publish a response time. Here is what sets it instead.

We haven't measured a median, so we don't publish one — a number nobody stands behind is worse than no number. What we can tell you is what your message runs into on our side.

  • A person reads it There is no ticket number and no auto-reply. Every address we send from carries a Reply-To that someone reads — we don't use a no-reply address anywhere, on any email.
  • The country decides who answers A question about Italy goes to the people who file there. That is what running 10 local entry points is for, and it is why the country field is on the form.
  • Nothing is quoted from an inbox A price needs a scope, and a scope needs a person to read your answers. If your question is “what will this cost”, the scope check is the shorter way round.

Answered already

Three questions have a faster answer than an email.

They are the three we get most often, and all three are already written down. If yours is none of them, the form above is the right way in.

  • “Do I owe anything in these countries?”

Six questions, no account, and an indicative map on the screen at the end of it.

    Check my scope
  • “Which countries do you actually run?”

All twenty-seven member states, with the authority, the scheme and the day we last read the source.

    See all countries
  • “What is this text everyone quotes at me?”

The packaging regulation, its reference, and what is not in place behind it yet.

    Read the PPWR page

If it is none of those, write it out. [email protected]
